Swapping eggs for tasty Carnilove treats and kibble, we encourage you to bring the hunt to your home or garden this Easter. Whether it’s hiding a treat behind a fallen branch for your dog or tossing a treat for your cat to pounce on, we think pets deserve an Easter treat whilst tapping into their natural instincts. Creating a hunt for your four-legged friend provides mental stimulation and it’s a great opportunity for all the family to get outside and play!
We’ve teamed up with @man_about_gardening Luke Newnes to give you some ideas for creating your own Easter hunt this year. Keep an eye out on our social channels @carnilove_uk for other members of the Carnilove pack as they get involved too.
To keep everyone safe, we recommend that the hunt should not take place after a chocolate Easter egg hunt unless you are 100% sure all of the chocolate has been removed! No chocolate should be used in the Easter hunt for cats and dogs – Carnilove treats and kibble provide a much safer and tastier option! The Foraging or ‘hunt’ location should be a safe zone away from any hazards i.e. toxic plants or roads. Please keep in mind your pets’ own physical abilities.
